Employees may utilize funds provided by their applicable MOUs every fiscal year for tuition, internal or external training programs, professional conferences, professional association memberships, and desired licenses relevant to the employee's current classification.
Employees from all unions (except MEA, L21, Supv. Nurses and UAPD) must complete the General Tuition Reimbursement Form and have it signed by their supervisor. Upon supervisor approval, employees must upload the PDF document into the Online Tuition Reimbursement System when submitting a Pre-Approval Request.
Employees from MEA must complete a Pre- Approval Request ONLINE. No separate form is required.
