On November 8, 2011, the voters of San Francisco passed Proposition C, which brings reform to the City's pension and health benefit systems. Proposition C was the product of a collaborative effort between Mayor Edwin M. Lee, Supervisor Elsbernd and labor leaders to address the City's increasing costs in pension and health benefits.
